Interior Design and Build Services

Brief Red Square was appointed to extend & fully refurbish a Victorian house in West London. This project included the excavation & construction of an additional lower ground floor of 1,000sqft, 10mtr glass flank window plus a new internal feature staircase constructed with cantilevered stone treads and structural glass landings.

Together with the use of high quality materials throughout we also installed the latest audio visual and lighting solutions, creating future proofing.

Red Square was commissioned by the client to provide a full design through to build service:

  • Property review and feasibility study
  • Concept design
  • Detail design and structural engineering
  • Project management & Build services
  • Custom made joinery
  • Furnishing

 

The client's key objectives were:

  • Ensure excellent ingress of natural light to the new lower ground level and to all other floors.
  • Entertainment and Leisure areas.
  • Master bedroom suite with a dressing room that could be altered to an additional bedroom.
  • Lower ground floor that could easily become a self contained flat for either parents or a nanny.
  • Contemporary interior focused on new Architectural features: external balconies, staircase and structural glass roofs.
