LIGHTINGLighting is a very important part of any interior design project and its contribution to a design scheme should not be underestimated. Lighting can be used to create some dramatic effects and programmable settings enable strong bright lights to be replaced by softer, warmer tones whenever required. We create individually designed lighting schemes for both indoor and outdoor spaces. The latest energy-saving lighting is incorporated into our interior and outdoor space designs, which are all fully compliant with the current regulations, including the new Part L Building Regulations. As more energy-saving lighting becomes available and the technology improves, high-quality lighting can be chosen, which is aesthetically pleasing, energy-efficient, yet also practical. It is now theoretically possible to light a house with at least a 50% energy saving, compared with 2–3 years ago. The lighting options we offer range from conventional spotlights and down lighters to modern flush mounted or hidden lighting in walls and floors. In order to make a dramatic statement in the overall design, we may propose using pendants and suspended lights, which are often objets d’art in their own right. In more traditional settings we may suggest using chandeliers and lampshades for example, as opposed to the more contemporary use of recessed light fittings. Our recommendations are based on space planning. For example, in an informal setting where furniture is frequently moved to suit varying situations or the purpose of the room can change, the lighting scheme needs to be flexible and adaptable. We use powerful state-of-the-art lighting software to provide computerised images to show you how a scheme will look in a number of different scenarios. In association with Tasque Lighting Ltd, we have access to thousands of products from across Europe. This enables us to incorporate some truly beautiful lighting schemes into our interior and outdoor space design. For more information contact: Tasque Lighting Ltd Tel: 01708 372221
